WHAT YOU DO: Easy routine choreographies and improvisation, walking, and having fun! (*Choreography will be sent a week before the parade day.)

JAANY (Japanese Artists Association of New York) and sarAika movement collective are proud to participate JAPAN DAY’S JAPAN PARADE in NYC every year. Every year, the festival of Japan Day celebrates Japanese culture, art, tradition, and food at Central Park,which is designed to introduce Japanese culture to New Yorkers and connect with the local Japanese community.
武島アイカとサラ・ピッチ率いるNYのダンスカンパニーsarAika movement collectiveは、ニュー ヨーク日本人美術家協会(JAANY)とコラボレーションし、JAPAN PARADEにて毎年参加。音楽はTsugumi Twistybonbonディレクターの元、様々なインディーズの日本人アーティストの曲を使用。美術とダンスと音楽を組み合わせ、ニューヨークのダンスコレクティブらしく、アートの醍醐味を最大限に活かしニューヨークのJAPAN PARADEを例年彩っています。
